Award Winning Artist Jon Austin
Jon Austin is an award winning carver and sculptor who has recently moved into the realm of abstract art.
A full time artist since 1986. His art has been featured in Dana Gallery in Missoula, Montana.
He was a featured artist at the C.M. Russell art auction in 1995.
Inland Empire Bird Carving Association named him artist of the year in 1993.
Jon grew up on the banks of the Flathead River in Kalispell Montana, was a record holding track athlete at Idaho State University, graduating with a Master’s Degree in Experimental Psychology. He perfected his art while raising his family in Missoula, Montana and now lives with his partner Trini in their artist abode in the small town of Eureka, Montana.
